Built on Trust
We at Liddiard Builders are only too aware of the fact that many home-owners have fallen victim to “cowboy” builders who leave them with shoddy results, incomplete projects and out of pocket.
We’d like to assure all our potential customers that we are reliable, trustworthy, professional and all extremely qualified and experienced in our various trades and areas of specialisation.
Our many satisfied customers attest to this (you can read some of their comments on the home page of this website), and we continue to obtain a great deal of work through “word of mouth” recommendations.
Last but not least we are proud to have affiliation to and/or accreditation from the following professional bodies and schemes:
The Guild of Master Craftsmen
The Guild is the UK’s most established trade association, representing a host of craftsmen such as builders, carpenters, plasterers, stone masons and bricklayers. To be accepted into the Guild we were carefully vetted and continued membership requires us to maintain and uphold strict professional criteria.
Displaying the Guild emblem, as we do, means we are accepted as trusted trades people who are skilled, reliable and accountable to the Guild.
NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting)
This body regulates the training and work of electrical contractors in the UK. Their officials carry out frequent assessments to ensure we are following safety standards, codes of practice, rules and regulations, and providing quality work to consumers.
Being listed on the Gas Safe Register for the UK means that we are considered qualified and competent to work safely and legally on gas installations and appliances.
We have to renew our registration on an annual basis.
National Federation of Roofing Contractors
To belong to the NFRC – the UK’s largest roofing trade association with a history spanning 125 years – we have been vetted (including site inspections) to ensure we offer high standards of workmanship, sound business practice and adhere to the NFRC’s strict codes of conduct.
